3811WC Mortise Privacy Lock

The 3811WC is most often used for staterooms and heads (water closets) when a privacy function is desired.  A thumbturn operates a deadbolt from inside - the deadbolt can be opened from outside during an emergency by removing the plug and using the 4529 spanner key.

Most trim styles the outside plate is available with and without the indicator window to show red for occupied and green for vacant.

The 3800 series features a stainless steel lock case, front plate, latch, bolt and follower.  The face plate has a brushed stainless finish and is available in polished stainless at an additional charge.  Can be used in combination with Stainless Steel plates and handle or the brass ones available in polished brass, polished chrome and matte chrome finishes.   For doors with a minimum thickness of 1 3/8".

The 3800 Series has a full size mortise and due to it's superior spring structure it is an excellent choice for use with heavy levers.  It is also the preferred choice for exterior and engine room doors as well as crew quarters due to its heavy construction and durability.  All are stocked with a 12.5mm radius faceplate.
